About IMSA
The International Conference on Measurement Sciences and Applications (IMSA) is a global platform hosted by the National Institute of Metrology (Thailand) (NIMT), bringing together researchers, industry experts, and policymakers to advance measurement science and its real-world applications.
IMSA provides a dynamic forum for sharing innovations in metrology, covering topics such as SI realization, calibration technologies, digital and quantum measurement, environmental and industrial monitoring, and uncertainty evaluation. The inaugural IMSA 2024, held in Nonthaburi, Thailand, highlighted the theme “Measurement for a Sustainable Future” and featured keynote talks, technical sessions, and exhibitions from leading organizations worldwide.
Designed as a biennial international conference, IMSA strengthens collaboration among national metrology institutes, academia, and industry. It supports knowledge exchange, promotes capacity building, and contributes to the development of a robust global quality infrastructure.

NIMT successfully hosted the 1st International Conference on Measurement Sciences and Applications (IMSA 2024) under the theme “Measurement for Sustainable Future” on 21-23 August 2024 at Impact Forum, Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi, Thailand. The event was presided over by H.E. Supamas Isarabhakdi, Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation.
